Strawberry Milkshake Cupcakes

My Strawberry Milkshake Cupcakes were quite the hit.
They taste just like a milkshake.
I whipped the frosting really well to make it light and fluffy.
The frosting is made with strawberry milk, giving them that perfect strawberry flavor.

The white cake recipe that I used for these cupcakes is Cake by Courtneys white cake recipe linked below.

Strawberry Milkshake Frosting


  • 2 sticks of butter
  • ¼ cup strawberry milk
  • 1 32 oz bag powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt


Cream the butter in your mixer for 2 minutes until you can see it coating the inside of the bowl.
Add in the powdered sugar and mix it around to incorporate the butter.
The mixture will be powdery.
All at once add in the strawberry milk.
The frosting should start to come together.
Add in your vanilla and pinch of salt and then whip the mixture for an entire minute until it is nice and silky.


24 Maraschino Cherries
12 Straws cut into ⅓s

Take your cupcake and frost it with a round piping tip, place a cherry on top and a pink straw in the side of the cupcake.
