Santa Sugar Cookies

These cookies are so cute and delicious.
I make them every year for my neighbors at Christmas time.
They taste like a Granny B's pink cookie.
They are soft and when you bite into them, the frosting melts in your mouth.
You can make the cookies undecorated and freeze them in a plastic bag, or decorate them,
freeze them so the frosting hardens and then store them in a plastic freezer bag
until you are ready to share them.
I usually make mine ahead and it gives me time to make more things to add to my treat platter.

and then the rest of the flour and mix to fully incorporate.
  5. Take the dough and roll it out between two parchement papers to about 1/3 inch thick.
  6. Put in fridge laying flat.
  7. Chill for 2 to 3 hours.
  8. Pull out and cut into circles.
  9. Bake at 375℉ for 6 to 8 minutes.

Butter frosting

This recipe may need to be doubled or tripled in order to frost all of your cookies.
I usually make one batch and dye it red.
And then make a triple batch, and keep it white for frosting the beard.
